August-September 2021
Over a period of four weeks, the Electric Truck & Bus Challenge team will review each submission to ensure it complies with proposal requirements and rules.

Scoring Committee
October-November 2021
The Scoring Committee will score and provide feedback on their assigned submissions using the scoring rubric. Scores are normalized for fairness.

Phase One Award Selection
Winter 2021-2022
Selection Period
The Selection Panel will review the top-scoring submissions and may request
additional information to select and announce up to five Phase One Awardees in early 2022.
Phase Two Planning Period
February - May 2022
Phase One Awardees will receive a planning grant of $100,000, up to $50,000 of in-kind support, and up to $50,000 in funding for their community partners to strengthen their solutions.
Selection Period
Phase Two Award Selection
Summer 2022
Up to three Phase Two Awardees will each receive an award of up to $8 million to implement their proposed solutions in New York State’s disadvantaged communities.
